Treatment services are tailored to each individual, covering topics that specifically impact women and include:

  • Comprehensive assessments Crossroads helps women figure out what is going on, be it a mental health or substance abuse concern or both, and then guides them to where they need to be to live healthier. An initial evaluation and assessment of the appropriate level of care is completed with a licensed professional counselor. Psychiatric evaluations are also available to clients, if needed.
  • Individual, couples, family and group counseling Clients meet with an individual licensed clinician in therapy sessions to address substance abuse and/or mental health problems. In addition, a number of unique, women-only therapy groups are offered to women in recovery from substance abuse and/or mental health issues.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Crossroads’ IOP is a structured group therapy option that provides substance abuse treatment either 3, 4 or 5 days per week at 3 hours a day. Gender-specific treatment issues are explored in this women-only IOP with an emphasis on addiction education, co-occurring mental health issues, coping skills, relapse prevention and the necessary tools for recovery.
