Crossroads, an addiction and behavioral health treatment center, cut the ribbon on a new outpatient counseling center in the Shops at Long Bank last week.
Serving the Kennebunk community since 2009, Crossroads provides gender-responsive outpatient counseling services for men and women and recently moved to a more central location to better serve its patients.
Crossroads moved from Livewell Drive to the Shops at Long Bank.
“We were getting so many requests for more services, that we needed to expand and grow, and we needed a bigger space,” said Director of Development and Communication Lesley Rawlings.
Crossroads offers mental health counseling including couples counseling, as well as addiction treatment.
Among those at the open house on Thursday, Oct. 12, were, from left, Marybeth Munroe from Camden National Bank, Kennebunk Town Manager Michael Pardue, Kennebunk Police Chief Robert MacKenzie, Kennebunk-Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Laura Dolce, Crossroads’ Chief Executive Officer Shannon Trainor, Crossroads’ Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Mary Anne Roy, Leslie Rawlings, and Alaina LeBlanc Tridente, from the KKA Chamber.
