SCARBOROUGH, Maine (February 9, 2015) – Crossroads was recently awarded a grant in the amount of $4,000 from the Gannett Foundation. The grant will support the Barbara L. Dacri Scholarship Fund. The funds will be used for clients in need of financial assistance for treatment at Crossroads’ 30-day Back Cove Residential Program.
“A grant like this one from the Gannett Foundation will help give access to treatment for more women seeking help for alcohol and substance use addiction,” says Shannon Trainor, Crossroads’ executive director. “Crossroads has prided itself in maintaining the highest quality programs for its clients for over 40 years. This grant will help to further reduce the financial barriers that may prevent clients from obtaining the help they need.”
