Last August, we announced that Crossroads was awarded $1.5 million over 3 years from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The money has allowed us to enhance our residential substance abuse treatment program for pregnant and postpartum women and their children.
We’re excited and proud to report that the treatment completion rate for our grant-funded program for pregnant and postpartum women is at 86.7%. Our Children And Mothers Program has always done great work, but our recent enhancements, including case management and increased family involvement, is really making a positive impact.
Kudos to all the staff at the Boulton Center for Women and Children in Windham and at the halfway house in Portland!
We’re proud to share with you a video, produced by Laki Vazakas, that beautifully illustrates the work being done at the Boulton Center for Women and Children and at our halfway house. Our hope is that you will watch, learn and share to help us spread the word about our innovative program for pregnant and postpartum women.
