The 4th Annual Walk for Recovery will begin in Portland’s Monument Square on Saturday, September 21st at 10:00am (registration starts at 8:30am). Crossroads has teamed up with six other local substance abuse and mental health organizations – including Catholic Charities Counseling Services, Milestone Foundation, Day One, York County Shelter/Serenity House, Health Care for the Homeless and Portland Recovery Community Center – to bring you this fun event.
The purpose of the event is to promote awareness of the issues involved with alcohol and drug addiction. While the walk is free, a $10 donation/participant is suggested. It coincides with events across the country in celebration of National Recovery Month. You can find out more about the event via the flyer below or by visiting the Walk for Recovery website.
