SUBJECT: Upcoming Changes to Crossroads for Women
DATE: October 19, 2011
Crossroads for Women has been going through a lot of exciting changes in the past few months. As you may be aware, we have expanded our outpatient programs to treat men in all of our counseling centers. As a result, we have changed our name and our board of directors has approved a new logo and mission for the agency. We will now simply be called Crossroads.
We remain dedicated to our gender-focused treatment model, which is reflected in our new mission:
Crossroads provides gender-responsive addiction and behavioral health treatment services in a safe and respectful environment so individuals and families can lead healthy lives.
To accommodate this growth, Crossroads has expanded its offices at Kennebunk Counseling Center and will be moving the Greater Portland Counseling Center from Pearl Street in Portland to Scarborough, in the same building as Coastal Women’s Healthcare. This move will happen on November 11th. We will start seeing clients in the new office on Monday, November 14th.
The Crossroads Greater Portland Counseling Center’s new address will be:
Crossroads
71 US Route One, Suite E
Scarborough, ME 04074
Our outpatient hours will remain the same, 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday, evenings by appointment.
Call 207.773.9931.
This new location in Scarborough has ample free, well-lit parking and is easily accessible by public transportation. To arrange transportation, please refer to the following:
- RTP: 207-774-2666

In addition, all of our residential intakes will take place at our Windham location at 120 Main Street starting on Monday, October 31st. Call 207.894.5733.
All of us here at Crossroads are excited about these changes, as they will give us the opportunity to help more families in Maine lead healthier lives. We ask for your patience as we make our move, update our materials and launch a new website in the next coming weeks.
Please feel free to contact us at 207.773.9931 if you have any questions or concerns.
